BRITAIN: Furious taxi driver gets dragged along street in anti-Uber protest

The war between Uber and taxi drivers goes far beyond London.

#AceWorldNews – Dec.11: Just check out this shocking scene in downtown Toronto, Canada, where a protest gets pretty heavy.

News outlets are interviewing a taxi driver concerned about how the app service is undercutting him when he stands in front of a car.

He is seen shouting ‘this is UberX’, before slamming on a side window and trying to open the driver’s door.


Suddenly, the Uber takes off with the taxi driver still clinging onto the handle.

He’s dragged for about 20 metres before the vehicle stops at a junction.

‘Don’t you know how dangerous that is – what are you doing?’ asks a presenter. ‘Are you really that desperate that you’re hanging onto a car?’
