#AceSportsNews – Sept.20: Norwich’s recent visits to the south end of Stanley Park have been best observed through the fingers.

Only a Grant Holt-inspired 1-1 draw in 2011, upon the Canaries’ return to the big time, brought some light relief to a five game run that’s seen Liverpool score eighteen times and City just twice in reply. It’s been grim.

If there is a positive to be gleamed, however, it’s that their tormentor-in-chief for much of this miserable run – one Luis Suarez – no longer plies his trade on Merseyside. But it verges on straw clutching. Especially given Christian Benteke’s scoring record against City.
