How to grab the best view during UCI Road World Championship races

#AceSportsNews – Sept.14: There are four courses and 12 races over the nine-days of the UCI Road World Championship races.

Spectators can watch anywhere along the course, but there are also better vantage points and sponsored fan zones. Fan zones offer bathrooms, Jumbotrons, food and drink vendors.

Note about FanFest. It is open from Sunday, Sept. 20 through Monday, Sept. 27, from 10:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. every day. All the below amenities will be there every day. The FanFest is where several races start, but where every race finishes.

Where: Greater Richmond Convention Center – Broad and 5th Streets

Head to the beautiful botanical garden to watch the cyclists at the start of the morning’s course from a classic Richmond weekend spot

  • As the action on the course concludes, the party will just be getting started. Head to FanFest to witness history as each World Champion receives the iconic Rainbow Jersey at the Official Podium Award Ceremony. Free and open to the public, FanFest features a beer garden, live entertainment and more than 100 exhibitors.
